I have fallen in love with the process...

Creating is a dance of work and play, to create something truly beautiful, one must imagine what the piece will communicate.  This takes focus, patience, and most of all passion. Once my hands begin, and the canvas is no longer a blank space, joy fills my soul! 

When I see a scene that brings me peace or joy, I grab my sketchbook, eager to translate the feeling onto paper! In my studio with a canvas on my easel, it’s perfectly white, with no scuffs, or smears. This overwhelms me, but just for a moment as I remember the peaceful scene in my mind. My linen apron hangs on its nail, and my paints are gathered in a basket ready and waiting.  Pale gray, ultramarine, and forest green begin their dance across my palette. With my hair up, apron tied, and my mind clear, I begin. One thing at a time, slow brushstrokes and soft lines; reminding me to approach life one moment at a time.

I am so glad you are here! Here is a little bit of my story: I began creating at a young age; my mom always encouraged my passion for art, especially when I took a strong interest in high school. Doubting that it could become a career, I began college leaning towards the medical field.

After a short time, I realized I was meant to create. So I dove in, begining my pursuit of fine art, exploring different mediums, and attending classes. After a year, and wise words from my mentor, I decided that I did not need to earn a degree and instead dove head first into my life as a creative. After many months of designing and painting, I launched my first collection in the spring of 2016, and now those pieces are living in homes of dear friends and family. Since then, I have launched many more collections and am now creating full time.
