This piece was created during a rainy week in February. Coffee simmered, novel pages turned, and I began sketching a few of my favorite scenes in the winter months. One is the fog amongst tall pines, they are the ones that were built to stay green throughout the year. They remind me of strength, and at the same time, they bring peace to the mind.

I hope this piece does the same for you. May you hesitate to move so fast past quiet moments, and instead learn to sit in them.
